Round 4 brings us the traditional ANZAC day clash against our old foes Essendon, a team that's playing with some pretty good form at the moment. A massive task for the Pies lays ahead on Saturday but with them also coming off a convincing win against the Saints it promises to be a cracker of a game. The Western Magpies will be holding their annual ANZAC Day function at O.P's Tavern on Saturday so please come down and cheer on the Mighty Magpies as we aim to continue our recent good ANZAC day record against the Bombers. Doors at O.P's open at 11:30am, Pre-game ceremony starts at 12pm, with the game starting at 12:40pm.

There will be a raffle held on the day with tickets being sold before and during the game up till half time, with the draw occuring at 3/4 time.

We hope to see plenty of numbers down at O.P's on the day as the Pies look to move to 3-1.

Finally the Western Magpies wish to acknowledge our servicemen and women, past and present who have served, fought and died to keep this great country free.

Lest We Forget !!

After a very disappointing 2014 season, a season that was marred with injuries and poor performances, we can finally look forward to the 2015 season. The off-season has seen many changes to the Collingwood list none more so than Dayne Beams being traded to Brisbane and Heritier Lumumba heading to the Demons. On behalf of the Western Magpies we thank them both for their years spent in the Black and White. It's not easy saying goodbye to two Premiership players but in their place we welcome Travis Varcoe (Dual Premiership player), Levi Greenwood (Kangaroos 2014 B&F runner up) and Jack Crisp, not to mention our 2015 draft picks (including Jordan De Goey and Darcy Moore). So things are looking very positive down here in Magpieland.

The Western Magpies will once again be holding their functions for all at O.P's Tavern in Osborne Park and while O.P's will unfortunately not be showing any Sunday games this year there will be a contingent of the Black and White army there for the 3rd NAB Challenge Game against the Bulldogs on Saturday 21st March. We hope to see you there on the day and during the season to cheer the Pies on. .

This season the Pies travel West in June to take on the Dockers in a Round 13 Thursday night clash, The Western Magpies will be holding a family day prior to this game (on the Wednesday). We will have more details on this in coming weeks so keep an eye on the website.

Bring on 2015 .
